Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Maven CRE collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Maven CRE (“Maven CRE,” “we,” “us”), 1911 Nicollet Ave, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55403, owns, manages, leases and repositions commercial and residential real estate in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form, call or email us, we collect what you share, such as your name, phone number, email address and message. If you apply for a space or apartment, or pay rent or log in as a tenant or owner, you do that on our property management portal (AppFolio), which collects the information on its application and account pages, for example identity, income, rental history and payment details for screening and leasing.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when you visit (such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time). We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that form submissions come from people rather than bots; it reads limited technical signals from your browser. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
How we use it
- To reply to you, show spaces and answer questions about our properties.
- To process rental and lease applications, including tenant screening you authorize on the application.
- To manage leases, rent payments, maintenance and owner reporting.
- To keep the site and our properties secure and prevent spam and fraud.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and fair housing record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Webflow (website hosting and form handling)
- Cloudflare (bot protection on forms)
- Google (web fonts)
- AppFolio (online applications, tenant and owner portals, payments)
- Tenant screening and credit reporting companies, only when you apply and authorize it
- Our email, phone, accounting and maintenance providers
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies, tracking and privacy signals
This site uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as those set by our hosting provider and by Cloudflare’s bot check. The AppFolio portal sets its own cookies under AppFolio’s privacy policy. This site does not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. Because we don’t sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will treat browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out request and update this policy first. Our response to “Do Not Track” browser settings is the same: we don’t track you across other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, taxes and legal obligations. Then we delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. You can also opt out of any future sale, targeted advertising or profiling, and withdraw consent you gave us. Depending on where you live (for example Minnesota, Colorado or California), these may be legal rights. To make a request, email us at Mfink@mavencre.com. We will confirm your request, respond within 45 days, and won’t treat you differently for using your rights. If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we’ll respond to the appeal within the time the law allows.
How we protect it
This site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to the people and providers who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date below. If a change is significant, we will also post a notice on this site or email people we work with before it takes effect.
